The weather was perfect for One World Festival on Sunday, and we were honored to kick off the busking schedule for the day at the upper Italian garden. Our little set inspired tango dancing, clapping, and generally blank stares, as well as a few dollars in the horn case from spectators who felt sorry for us.
In spite of the ear-splitting volume from the over-amplified music in the lower garden (measuring an average of 85 decibels all the way UPSTAIRS from the music), we still proved that music is for listening, not for assaulting the eardrums.
(Spectator count: at least FIVE HUNDRED PEOPLE!)
